Soy protein isolate is made from high quality Non-GMO soybean with high level of protein up to 90%. It is an excellent additive applied in meat industry due to its high emulsion and gelling properties. It can help meat processors to achieve good and stable emulsion and gelation to reduce the cooking loss and prevent fat loss and improve the structure of the final products in a cost-effective way.
Soy flour or defatted soy flour (50% protein) glue which originally replaced the more expensive casein glue for Douglas firplywood is re-emerging as the glue of choice to replace toxic urea formaldehyde and phenol formaldehyde resin glues with a formaldehyde-free soy glue. Soy protein is used for emulsification and texturizing. Specific applications include adhesives,asphalts, resins, cleaning materials, cosmetics, inks, pleather, paints, paper coatings, pesticides/fungicides, plastics,polyesters, and textile fibres.
